Filing Procedures for Georgia Profit Corporations
The Articles of Incorporation must be prepared in the format prescribed by O.C.G.A.
§14-2-202 (for-profit) or O.C.G.A. §14-3-202 (nonprofit).
BSR Form 227, the Transmittal Form, should be submitted for filing along with the
Articles of Incorporation.
Articles of Incorporation must be types or printed in black or blue ink, on regular
letter-sized paper. They must be dark enough to be photocopied or microfilmed.
Your corporation may wish to add more Articles to your document to include further
